Show students how to make sense of numbers with computation activities to help them build number competence, do problem-solving, and have confidence in their ability to think and reason on their own. Activities in the book are grouped into four sections: mental computation, the basics and more, navigating the number system, and estimation. Some activities are introduced to the whole class and played in pairs, small groups, or by individuals, while others are introduced and solved by the whole class.
